Jim Hudson Lexus has invited twelve local non-profit groups to receive a holiday donation at a brief ceremony on Friday, December 14th at 10am. The event will take place at the dealership on Washington Road. Over $11,000 worth of gifts and direct donations will be presented in appreciation for programs which help people in need. The Board Members of these agencies will be in attendance, as well as Lexus team members from all departments. Members of the media are welcome to stop by for the brief presentation.
The focal non-profit group for this year is Golden Harvest Food Bank, a locally-supported, nonprofit, charitable food distribution center that provided more than 10.2 million pounds of grocery products to the hungry through a network of 500 partner agencies and programs in 30 counties in Georgia and South Carolina.
Other recipients in attendance will include Hope House, Augusta Urban Ministries, the Salvation Army, Child Enrichment, Shiloh Community Center, Helping Hands of Aiken County, Hale House, American Red Cross, Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation, Lucy Craft Laney Museum’s Children Academy, and Augusta Rescue Mission.
